{"id":437,"date":"2018-05-01T09:49:59","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T13:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dwan.org\/?p=437"},"modified":"2019-10-25T12:26:43","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T16:26:43","slug":"gp-write","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dwan.org\/index.php\/2018\/05\/01\/gp-write\/","title":{"rendered":"GP-Write"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past year, I&#8217;ve had the privilege to serve as the chair of a working group (computing) for the <a href=\"http:\/\/engineeringbiologycenter.org\/\">GP-Write<\/a> project.  I&#8217;m spending today at GP-Write&#8217;s annual meeting in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>GP-Write is a highly international, rapidly evolving collaboration with a goal of rapidly advancing the technology and ethical \/ legal framework necessary for <b>forward<\/b> engineering of complex genomes.
