{"id":2077,"date":"2009-05-09T09:15:46","date_gmt":"2009-05-09T13:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dwan.org\/?p=2077"},"modified":"2020-11-27T16:51:27","modified_gmt":"2020-11-27T21:51:27","slug":"home-sweet-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dwan.org\/index.php\/2009\/05\/09\/home-sweet-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Home sweet home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Home for a day, with <a href=\"http:\/\/redmed.livejournal.com\/\">redmed<\/a> before headed to Honduras for a (well earned) week&#8217;s vacation tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a crazy lark, headed to <a href=\"http:\/\/technolope.livejournal.com\/\">technolope<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/capital_l.livejournal.com\/\">capital_l<\/a>s place directly from picking <a href=\"http:\/\/redmed.livejournal.com\/\">redmed<\/a> up at the airport last night. We had a fantastic dinner and made an early night of it in support of a massively productive day today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week of work went well. I realized that the highest complement I can receive after teaching a class is &#8220;oh, that <strong>is<\/strong> simple!&#8221; If I can show someone that some piece of technology is actually a lot simpler than they imagined it &#8211; I&#8217;m doing my job well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now, off to achieve inbox zero, pay bills, vacuum (because we can&#8217;t have people watching our cats in a dirty house, can we?) and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consensus is that since neither of us slept at home this week, we don&#8217;t need to change the sheets.
