Not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* Sometimes at this point, we do <strong>shots.<\/strong> Optionally, the shots can be because we\u2019re not drunk yet \u2026 and we\u2019ve been so much drunker than this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* After bonding through the shots, we proclaim \u2013 for no reason in particular: <strong>I love you, man!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* Next we <strong>plan awesome adventures<\/strong> that will never happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 here is the line demarcating \u201ctoo much\u201d \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* Someone begins \u2013 to insist that <strong>you\u2019re doing it wrong<\/strong>. Who knows what \u201cit\u201d is, or why they care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* They will not be silenced, because <strong>repetition<\/strong> is the order of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* No no! <strong>you\u2019re doing it wrong!<\/strong> is <strong>repeated!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* First it becomes acceptable to <strong>hook up with strangers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* Then it becomes acceptable to <strong>hook up with your friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* And finally, in one of many manners of doing so, you <strong>shit the bed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A notional list, based on more than a decade of observation: * First we become loud. * Then we all talk about how drunk we were, that one time. * Next, we reassure each other that we\u2019re totally not drunk yet.
