Yes, I&#8217;ve sold out and set up google adwords. Basically, I&#8217;ve erected a tiny little billboard on my tiny corner of the web. I&#8217;ve added code to allow google to display an advertisement of their choosing on that space. I&#8217;m told that if anyone actually clicks on that ad &#8211; I will receive fractional pennies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was all worried about the moral ramifications of this decision, until I asked a friend to take a look and tell me what she thought. She was using the <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/1865\/\">adblock<\/a> plugin for Firefox, and was quite unable to see what I was talking about. I feel much better now. If being exposed to advertising bothers you, then you should do likewise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For what it&#8217;s worth, I have no illusions that this will bring any money my way.
